FAA Commercial Drone Policy

Commercial Drone operations are heavily regulated

Drone flights are weather permitting and in approved ATC Airspace.

• Drone operations inside the 5-mile radius to the closest airport will require FAA Approval and, depending on proximity to the Airport, will be able to perform at a specific altitude. 

• Outside the 5-mile radius, we can fly with automatic acceptance and have a guaranteed drone operation if the weather allows it.

• In case of bad weather conditions, we will reschedule and come back as soon as weather permits.
